The DCF964 features a 3/4 anvil drive with hog ring that allows for quick socket changes. The Hog Ring enhances socket retention and allows for the more efficient torque delivery – this means there is no power lost in the transfer to the socket. The compact impact wrench is only 213mm in length meaning it is capable of getting into smaller and tighter spaces as well as offering easier storage. The compactly designed impact wrench delivers, thanks to an improved brushless motor, up to 1898Nm fastening torque, 2584Nm nut busting torque along with a boost mode. In which after 4 seconds of impacting the rpm is increased to deliver more power. This works in both directions but more useful in reverse for removing stubborn nuts/bolts if they haven’t been removed within the first 4 seconds of impacting. The variable speed trigger lets you control the speed of the wrench, while it remains comfortable to hold and operate thanks to the ergonomic grip design.
